HILLVIEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

The parent advisory council member is a concerned person willing to assist the efforts of the staff and enrich our school community. We are involved in the following types of activities:

- running the Safe Arrival program - advising the school principal of ongoing issues and/or recurring problems - assisting parents in accessing the system - directing parents as to the appropriate procedure to hear individualized concerns at school and district level - providing education discussions including Parent Education Nights - coordinating special events for family fun - organizing class phone representatives - fund raising for school equipment and field trips
