About Hillview Elementary
Hillview Elementary is located on the beautiful, ancestral, unceded territory of the Sylix Okanagan people where we are proud to live, learn, work and play. Our school is found in a family-oriented neighborhood of Vernon, B.C. surrounded by farmlands, historic heritage homes and stunning views of the Okanagan Valley. Hillview has a proud and long history as many of our families are former alumni students.
We have 17 divisions and currently enroll approximately 400 students from Kindergarten to Grade 7. As Hillview continues to grow so does the diversity of our student population. Our school is fortunate to have many cultures represented and 15% of the student population at Hillview identifies as indigenous.
